What good is Chassidus and piety if the main quality is lacking - Ahavat Yisrael, love of another even to the extent of causing (G-d forbid) anguish to another!

Sometimes I wonder.

Do you?

Do YOU ever wonder?

Rabbi Akiva laughed because the Chachomim cried....

Had they not cried for the bais hamikdosh, had they been satisfied with the golus THEN he would not laugh, he would cry...but since he saw that they are not happy, they are yearning for the geulah... ah, then he was able to laugh, the good times will come...

Hayom Yom

In the early period of his leadership the Alter Rebbe taught:

"The footsteps of man are directed by G-d."

When a Jew comes to a particular place it is for an (inner
Divine) intent and purpose - to perform a mitzva, whether
a Mitzva between man and G-d or a Mitzva between man and his
fellow-man.

A Jew is G-d's messenger.

Wherever a Shaliach may be, he represents the power
of the Mshalei'ach, the one who sent him.
